To receive even better results for your Forestle searches you can make use of the following search operators:

Example query: "save rainforest" Returns all documents that contain the all of the search terms spelled in exactly the same way and written in the same order. A document containing the phrase "save tropical rainforest" would not show up in the search results. |

Example query: search engine OR website All documents are listed, which contain one search term or the other. Documents that contain both search terms are also are given out. |

Example query: Energy -Coal Returns all documents, which contain the word "Energy" but don't contain the word "coal". |

Example query: Yealand+New Shows documents, which contain all of the listed terms spelled in exactly the same way, but which not necessarily the in same order. (A query with a space instead of the "+" operator would also return documents containing "New Zealand".) |

Example query: site:bbc.co.uk CO2 Google The search will only be performed on the specific website listed. All other websites are excluded. |

Example query: site:bbc.co.uk +Google -Microsoft emission OR CO2 "as much carbon dioxide as boiling a kettle" You can also combine the various operators. But please note that the more specific search queries you use, the less results you will receive. |
